Thermal Imaging Inspection
Infrared scan of the entire home — included free with every OnSite inspection. Reveals what visual inspection alone cannot.
Infrared Thermal Imaging — Included With Every Inspection
Thermal imaging — also called infrared imaging — uses a specialized camera that sees temperature differences invisible to the naked eye. Those temperature differences reveal hidden problems: water leaking behind drywall, missing or compressed attic insulation, electrical hot spots in panels, HVAC distribution issues, and air infiltration around windows and exterior doors.
Most home inspectors charge an additional $100–$200 to include thermal imaging. OnSite includes it on every inspection, every time, at no extra cost. We believe it's the single most valuable diagnostic tool a home inspector can carry.

What's Included
Every OnSite thermal imaging scan checks for these hidden issues — at no additional cost.
Hidden Moisture Detection
Water leaks behind drywall, under floors, and around fixtures — even when nothing is visible from the surface.
Missing or Compressed Insulation
Insulation gaps in attic bays and exterior walls that drive heating costs and contribute to ice damming.
Electrical Hot Spots
Failing breakers, loose connections, and overloaded circuits in panels and outlets — a real fire-safety concern.
HVAC Distribution Issues
Duct losses, supply-register problems, and air infiltration around windows and exterior doors.
