Mold Air Sampling
Lab-analyzed indoor air quality test for mold spores. Recommended whenever you see water staining or smell mustiness.
Mold Air Sampling for Utah Properties
Mold air sampling collects spores from indoor air using a calibrated pump and impaction cassette. The cassettes are sealed and sent to an accredited microbiology laboratory, where a microbiologist identifies and counts spore types under a microscope. Indoor counts are compared to an outdoor control sample taken on the same day so we can tell whether what's indoors is normal background mold or something elevated and concerning.
Air sampling is most useful when you suspect mold but can't see it directly — musty odors, recent water damage, recurring respiratory irritation, or visible water staining without an obvious mold colony.
